1. Who are we?

Icarus Food Planner is an unofficial community tool for the game Icarus (Rocket Surge). The site is hosted and operated in Quebec, Canada at https://icarusfood.com/.

3.1 Local data (on your device only)

This data is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and is neither transmitted nor accessible by our servers.

3.2 Admin session cookie

3.3 Google Analytics (with consent only)

If you accept consent, Google Analytics 4 is loaded to anonymously measure site traffic (pages visited, duration, country of origin). No personally identifiable data is collected.

Cross-border transfer (Law 25, s. 17): Analytics data is transmitted to Google LLC, whose servers are located in the United States. This transfer only occurs with your explicit consent. Google maintains adequate protection measures under its privacy policies.

If you decline consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and no _ga cookies are created.

3.4 Google AdSense (with consent only)

If you accept consent, advertisements may be displayed via Google AdSense. This service uses cookies to personalize ads based on your browsing. These cookies are only placed with your explicit consent.

4. Your rights (Law 25)

Under Law 25, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: know what information we hold about you.
• Right of rectification: have inaccurate information corrected.
• Right to erasure: request deletion of your data.
• Right to withdraw consent: at any time via the 🔒 button at the bottom of the page or by contacting us.
• Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured format (note: localStorage data is already entirely on your device).

5. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Admin session cookies are protected with HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict attributes. No passwords or sensitive data are stored client-side.

6. Changes to this policy

In case of material changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. For significant changes affecting your rights, a notice will be displayed via the consent banner.
